About Us
The SUNARES fund is the result of a long-standing close friendship between the two fund advisors, Colin and Udo. They first met during their student years in Innsbruck at the Shotokan Karate-do Dojo, whose “school of hard strikes” shaped their further life path.
Proper karate training reveals and trains the true character of each individual and forms the basis of their mutual trust and interaction with one another.
After their studies, the friendship continued, and both ended up in the finance industry in London and Austria, where they found that their different forms of market analysis complemented each other very well and usually led to the same results. While Colin prefers the fundamental approach, Udo’s style is more technical-market-behavioral-quantitative in nature.
Colin Moor
Colin has been employed as Managing Director and partner of the private London asset management firm ‘Rometsch & Moor Ltd.’ since July 1999, responsible for investment management as a managing partner.
Before that, he worked for 10 years at UBS London as a director in Private Banking.
Udo Sutterluty
From 1998 to early 2008, Udo was Treasurer and Senior Fund Manager at Raiffeisenbank Kleinwalsertal AG and from 2002 onwards was responsible for five WALSER funds. Subsequently, he founded Sutterlüty Investment Management GmbH.
Previously, he worked at Creditanstalt BV Vienna as Chief Trader for Stocks and Derivatives, after having worked as a market maker for options and futures at the Austrian Futures and Options Exchange (ÖTOB) for several years before that.
